Stratford Literary Festival
Established in 2007, the Stratford Literary Festival has grown from strength to strength and is now in its 15th year. Originally a spring festival held over a weekend, it has grown to be an event held in the spring and autumn at a variety of venues across the town. It is a charity that has an extensive community programme that works with a variety of groups, including children's literary outreach and bedtime story writing workshops in prisons.
Each year, a number of authors and presenters attend the festival and many are world famous. There is also a children's programme of events where authors and illustrators, performers and artists provide entertainment for children.
The Director, Annie Ashworth, leads a team that enjoys the support of a legion of volunteers. The programme for the next festival and more information can be found at stratlitfest.co.uk
