As the photographer behind Stratford Festival Faces, I have the privilege of photographing everyone who passes through the festival — but photography is also how I earn a living, so there is a fee when images from this project are used outside of it.

I also take on private commissions. Whether you need a headshot for a business website, a portrait for social media, or something more creative, I bring decades of experience and a careful eye for lighting, composition and character.

Every commission is approached on its own terms. I don't use a formula — each portrait is tailored to its intended use, whether that's a corporate profile, an editorial feature or a personal keepsake. A good portrait communicates something about the subject and creates a connection with the viewer.
I like to think my relaxed approach helps people feel at ease in front of the camera. Many have told me the experience was far less painful than they expected.
